That was the challenge laid down by SEB, the large Nordic bank, which is striving to build closer ties with customers in a range of markets outside its home of Sweden.
The solution involved going outside the established visual design codes to find a design that was at once distinctive and timeless. The result? We developed a vibrant calligraphic sign-like symbol that not only sets SEB apart, but captures its values as a dynamic, culturally-sensitive bank committed to staying close to customers.
